I went to some local tattoo parlor last month just to browse through photographs in some for the tattoo books they’d as I needed to get a tattoo for my birthday celebration. I’m a late bloomer when compared with my friends in regards to getting a tattoo. Most with them got tattoos once they were teenagers.
I actually almost got one myself when I was 15 but changed my mind because first, I was afraid of the pain sensation from the tattooing itself and second, I was afraid to get struggling with my dad should he discover I had gotten a tattoo. I’m over 21 now and I’m able to decide what I’d to do with my body.
Anyway, I flipped through the tattoo books looking for that perfect ankle tattoo design. I never wear shoes (I either go barefoot or wear flip flops at most), and I thought a tattoo on my own ankle would surely perfect complement to my toe rings and ankle bracelet.
After going any couple of the tattoo books I was starting to get yourself a little frustrated since i hadn’t seen a sole artwork that Enjoyed. Most of the tattoo designs were either childish or abject. I wanted something feminine and cute on my ankle. Something designed to represent me for a lot of decades.
I continued thumbing through the pages of the tattoo books and saw a few interesting tattoo designs. Quantity of the pictures looked scary and even hideous although very a few them were rather brilliant, I must admit. However, there was none that jumped out and said “I’m yours!”
I had experienced the tattoo parlor for over 20 min and still had not decided on a few things i wanted. Finally, one of the tattoo artists approached me and asked if Needed help choosing a tattoo design. He tried to help by asking us a few questions to what I liked, my interests, and even my beliefs.
After going through Q and A trying to figure out who I was, the tattoo artist, who by the way, was quite an attractive guy, dug through many the tattoo books that I we hadn’t yet had opportunity to to go over. Finally, he picked up a magazine and smiled saying, “I have the perfect tattoo book for you.”
So I opened the tattoo book and saw some new age and pagan related tattoo designs like pentacles, zodiac symbols, moon and stars, and fairies. I thought those were really cooler. Finally, we were getting somewhere! Seeing my face light up, the tattoo artist smiled again and stood beside me while I browsed through the video. He then pointed to a design and said, “I think stronger look great on the ankle.”
This particular body art comprised a fairy kneeling down on the flower slightly looking up, her long hair covering her chest, a crescent moon and a few stars above him / her. I almost jumped in excitement as I noticed the beautiful artwork since I it represented me in more ways than you. I’m a barefoot free spirit, just like a fairy, who loves wandering in a peaceful dark night gazing at the moon and celebrities which I believe have special efforts.
I immediately scheduled an appointment that’s not a problem artist to have my left ankle tattooed a range of days later. It did hurt just a little but not quite as bad as I’d anticipated. The result was definitely any price and period spent going using the tattoo books. Now i have a really cool tattoo on my ankle that I’m really proud pertaining to.
After seeing my tattoo, my friend and co-worker wanted one too. Outside brought her for the tattoo parlor and we looked through a large number of tattoo records. It didn’t take her prolonged as to pick a design since I already knew which tattoo books to exhibit her. She wanted to go with a colorful pentacle and fairy tattoo . Rather than her ankle however, my friend made have the tattoo on her right arm. Now both us are excited to show off our tattoos.
